Broadway Cabaret is produced by Randy Swartz, who was Artistic Director of Dance Celebration and Next Move Dance and enjoyed a decades-long collaboration with the Annenberg Center, where he produced more than 2,500 performances. Swartz retired in 2020, leaving a legacy of dance presenting and commissioning in Philadelphia that Penn Live Arts has carried forward at The Annenberg Center.
Broadway Cabaret is thrilled to unveil its Spring 2026 season, inviting Broadway lovers to a series of unique, up close and personal performances. Set in the exquisite Rittenhouse Grill at The Warwick Hotel. Broadway Cabaret provides a one-of-a-kind evening combining the elegance of fine dining with the experience of live, intimate performances by Broadway’s most illustrious stars.
Broadway Cabaret’s Spring 2026 season lineup includes four special presentations with six incredible performers:
Christine Andreas with Martin Silvestri, Mandy Gonzalez, Max von Essen with Billy Stritch at the piano, and Beth Leavel.
Known as a Philadelphia premier dining destination, Rittenhouse Grill is the perfect venue for the cabaret series. The restaurant resembles a 1940s swanky supper club that can accommodate upwards of 140 guests across a multi-level dining room accented by a leopard print carpet. The restaurant is celebrating its 27th anniversary.
During Broadway Cabaret, a three-course prix fixe dinner is included in the Premium and Standard seating. A choice of appetizers, main course, sides, and dessert will be offered, completing the dining experience.

Mandy Gonzalez recently wrapped eight months of weekly guest performances in the starring role of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of “Sunset Blvd”. She previously starred in “Hamilton” and “Wicked” but is perhaps best known for her role in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway musical “In the Heights,” for which she received a Drama Desk award.

Max von Essen is a Tony and a Grammy Award-nominated vocalist. His Broadway credits include roles in “Evita”, “Les Misérables”, “Chicago”, and “An American in Paris.” Max starred on Broadway as Billy Flynn in “Chicago” this past season, appeared in “Anastasia” and toured the country in the Lincoln Center production of “Falsettos”.
Billy Stritch is a composer, arranger, vocalist, and jazz pianist. For twenty-five years, he was best known as a confidant, music director, and piano accompanist for Liza Minnelli. Stritch and Sandy Knox composed the 1994 Grammy Award-winning country song, “Does He Love You,” recorded by Reba McEntire and Linda Davis.

Beth Leavel

Beth Leavel is best known for her performances in the Broadway musicals “The Drowsy Chaperone”, “Baby It’s You!”, and “The Prom”, receiving Tony Award nominations for all three and winning for “The Drowsy Chaperone”. She received the 2025 Sarah Siddons Society Award for outstanding artistic achievement in theatre and performed in her 15th Broadway show, “Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends,” this past season.
