Broadway Cabaret at Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Grill’s 24′-25′ season will feature a fall and spring season of three artists each.
Storm Large opens the fall season on Monday, September 23 with a program entitled “Inner Voice,” a musical exploration of great contemporary women singers and songwriters. Storm is touring with Pink Martini this summer and has performed at Lincoln Center, 54 Below, and Carnegie Hall. Her highly expressive style was noticed and recognized on America’s Got Talent.
Liz and Ann Callaway (sisters) have a long Broadway pedigree with several Tony, Grammy, and Emmy nominations. Their show “Broadway the Calla-ways” on October 14 explores their rich Broadway repertoire. Their arrangements and vocalizing are captivating.
On Tuesday, December 17, a marvelous New York holiday tradition comes to Philadelphia. “A Swinging Christmas,” which has sold out Birdland for the past eighteen years, brings three Cabaret legends along with musicians for holiday fun and high jinks. Classic holiday songs, new arrangements, comedy, and great chemistry make for an evening of fun and celebration.
Klea Blackhurst, known for her tribute to Ethel Merman, Jim Caruso, winner of seven MAC, nine Broadway World, and two Summitt awards for his work in cabaret, and Billy Stritch, for twenty-five years Liza Minelli’s musical director combine artistic forces for a musical extravaganza.

Storm Large
September 23rd
Storm Large shot to national prominence in 2006 as a finalist on the CBS show Rock Star: Supernova. Large made a name for herself from tours with Pink Martini, with whom she is currently touring Europe. She’s made orchestral appearances at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center to the television stage of America’s Got Talent. Get to know a more reflective Storm in her new, intimate show Inside Voice as she celebrates female artists who use their inside voice through performance.

“A Swinging Christmas” has been a sold-out extravaganza celebrating the holidays at Birdland in New York since 2010. Now the merry show comes to Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Grill for one night only on Tuesday, December 17. In the tradition of beloved seasonal specials, Blackhurst, Caruso, and Stritch will perform swinging arrangements of “Christmas Waltz,” “Holiday Season”, “Sleigh Ride”, “Snow”, and other holiday favorites.

Rittenhouse Grill
Known as a Philadelphia premier dining destination, Rittenhouse Grill is the perfect venue for the cabaret series. The restaurant resembles a 1940s swanky supper club that can accommodate upwards of 120 guests across a multi-level dining room accented by a leopard print carpet. The restaurant is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
During An Evening with Me, a three-course prix fixe dinner is included in the Premium and Standard seating. A choice of appetizers, main course, sides, and dessert will be offered, completing the dining experience.
Seating opportunities for An Evening with Me are as follows:
· $225 – Premium seating (closest to the stage), full dinner, performance. Beverages are additional. Limited Seating Available.
· $200 – Standard seating, full dinner, and performance. Beverages are additional.
Dinner is at 6 PM | Show starts 8PM
· $75 – Bar and partial view seating; does not include food. (2 drink minimum).

An Evening with Me is produced by Randy Swartz, who was Artistic Director of Dance Celebration and Next Move Dance and enjoyed a decades-long collaboration with the Annenberg Center, where he produced over 2,500 performances. Swartz retired in 2020, leaving a legacy of dance presenting and commissioning in Philadelphia that Penn Live Arts has carried forward at The Annenberg Center.
